Sembradores Decaf is Redemption Roasters decaf coffee from Colombia, produced by Asociación Sembradores de Vida. This is part of RR’s continuing relationship with the Asociación, which has been growing over the past three years. It originates from the municipality of Ortega, Cauca, which has historically been subject to devastating conflict and drug production.

Similar to Redemption Roasters, the cooperative believes wholeheartedly in rehabilitation. They provide support and training to their workers, which is reflected in the high quality of this decaf coffee. By providing training and support to producers, these producers can produce coffee instead of illegal products, in order to lead calmer, more sustainable lives.

This decaf coffee’s flavour profile is dominated by chocolate and syrupy fruits notes. Combined with this, the sweetness of the caramel gives the nutty, fruity notes a bit more smoothness.
